History:-

Timbavati Wildlife Park, from its stunning exterior wildlife murals to its beautiful animal displays, and interactive and educational animal activities, brings a new world of animal adventure to Wisconsin Dells.

At Timbavati you can experience the thrill of learning about an array of wonderful animals, while developing a personal connection with them. We invite you to set your own pace as you tour the park. Linger at “The Falls”. Climb the overlook tower and enjoy the view. Relax your pace at the tortoise display. Practice your best bounce with the kangaroo! Delight in the playful antics of the penguins in their pool! Be amazed with the exuberant games of the tigers and lions at the feline display, or take a moment to appreciate the quiet beauty of our rare clouded leopards. Venture across the River Ravine Bridge and your walk in the woods will bring you to exotic antelope and kangaroo. Be sure to look for new babies in the herds and mobs!

Supervised interactive animal activities are available throughout the park. The most popular of course, is meeting and feeding the giraffe. These amazing animals are the centerpiece of our park. Animals from anteaters, to porcupines are on display and their keepers will be standing by to share fun facts and educational information about each animal as you enjoy a hands on learning experience like no other.

Our ever popular and exciting wildlife shows will return to the park this year. They are an enjoyable and informative way to meet some of our unique animal characters. View the animal nursery and watch our dedicated staff care for the precious newborns. Take a Camel Ride, I double dare you! Prepare to be thrilled by our porcine speedsters at the Swinetime Pig Racing Track. Have lunch at the Safari Snack Shack. Visit our gift shop for wildlife gifts of all types. Spend a quiet moment in the gardens. Take a spin on the Go-Carts. Ride our Safari Train, the beautifully refitted Engine # 9 from the old Fort Dells. The train tracks loop through open pastures where exotic animals roam, and then swing past the giraffe where the train stops allowing passengers to disembark and spend time with these gentle giants.

The owners and staff of Timbavati Wildlife Park take great pride in our animals. It is a privilege to live and work with them, and our pleasure to share them with you. From concept to finished construction, from the miracle of the birth of each animal to their maturity, every day is a learning experience and an adventure. We invite you all to come and share the adventure with us!
