It was a really awesome zoo. We came to Wisconsin from Vermont to visit family and we got told it was a must see and our family loved it especially the kids.. Loved all the benches and rest spots for the kids because the zoo is huge gives the kids time to rest and have a little snack in between exhibits. Downside food was really expensive would recommend packing lots of snacks and drinks glad we did.. But overall a really awesome family zoo..

We recently visited this zoo and had so much fun out there! Excellent family atmosphere was provided. Staffs were very friendly. They had a variety of animals and well maintained too. The train rides and shows were so good. Multiple choices of restaurants and wide variety of drinks choice too. Lot of shady places to rest and get back your energy especially on a hot day. They have a huge car parking lot that was so easy to park the vehicle. Overall I would rate them a 5 star for all the amenities provided and well maintained place.

Took family here for the day. Admission is a little pricey of you are not a resident of Milwaukee. This zoo is kept clean and is constantly being updated. The new otter exhibit is very nice looking. Plenty of shade and misters allow you to keep cool on hot days. A huge variety of exhibits and extras makes this the ideal place to spend a weekday. Weekends can get very crowded.

Great zoo with wide variety of animals and activities. For kids zoo classes are a hit, feeding Giraffes or Sea Lions is a blast as well. If your going more then 2 to 3 times a year buy the zoo pass well worth it. Great playground there as well if the kids need to burn off more energy. Plenty of decent food and snack options throughout, but note you can bring in your own food and drinks so if you have the zoo pass and bring your own snacks for the kids etc can be a cheap activity for frequent visitors.

This is a great zoo, with plenty to offer. It is a little pricey for an out-of-state customer. However, it is one of the few zoos left with elephants, so worth it to me. The animals here were very "lively" and didn't just sit around. The zoo was well kept and clean. I can't wait to see the new elephant enclosure!
