Great park to go hiking. About 5 or so different paths that loop around the park which you can go through tall grass, some woods or a little pond. Also has a good observation tower. Great place to brings the dogs and spend about 1 or so.

Spring time is a beautiful time to spend in the forest. There are 3 different wooded areas with different plant & tree species. Very peaceful!! Can't forget to mention the activity in the wetlands! Very beautiful and busy time of year.

The walk to the tower from the small parking lot on the west side of the preserve, off Swan Rd, is half a mile or less on the trail through the woods. Beautiful views. Verity of birds to see.

Fun little place to go and explore for an afternoon, you can mix up your path to keep things interesting. Nice big trails and lots of waterfowl to watch too.
