I was astounded when I walked in the front door of Hoard Historical Museum. It's a large, wonderful Museum in a small town. The displays are amazing and interactive. It's certainly worth the drive from Madison to go visit it. And if you happen to have an interest in Wisconsin's Dairy history your mind will be absolutely Blown Away!

This museum has more than you would think, and often has displays work from other people. You can fulfill your history heart with it's dairy shrine, it's Lincoln exhibit, the Hoard house, or the Native American mounds. Definitely worth a trip!

I love history, and having lived on a farm, this hits home for me. This is the dairy shrine.

Always a fun place to visit. Always something different. Many exhibits are worth seeing over and over. Need at least 2 hours to get a good overview. Amazingly good for a small town museum. Great staff, mostly volunteers.
