Green Lake Festival Of Music


Mission:

The Green Lake Festival of Music, Inc. is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to entertain, inspire, and educate through musical performances and activities of the highest quality.

The Festival’s programs include its flagship concert series featuring top-quality artists from throughout the U.S. and beyond, a two-week chamber music workshop for high school and college students, an adult choral institute, the Thomas E. Caestecker series of family concerts which was inaugurated in 2006. Festival concerts range from classical chamber and choral concerts to jazz, cabaret and world music. Most concerts are held in the historic Thrasher Opera House in Green Lake and Ripon College’s Rodman Center for the Arts, as well as in nontraditional venues such as a local historic barn. Outreach and educational activities are held in surrounding towns such as Ripon, Oshkosh, Neenah and Fond du Lac.

The Green Lake Festival of Music, Inc. is a member of the Chamber Music America, the Green Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, the Ripon Area Chamber of Commerce, Wisconsin Arts Board and the Wisconsin Presenters Network. The Green Lake Festival of Music, Inc. is supported in part by the Performing Arts Fund, a program of Arts Midwest; State of Wisconsin, and the National Endowment for the Arts. Other funding comes from the Green Lake County/Ripon Community Foundation, Green Lake Chamber of Commerce, Oshkosh Area Community Foundation, and private/corporate donations. Promotional support has been provided by Wisconsin Public Radio.
