This place is engaging! Full of fun experiments, cool scientific facts, and interesting displays, including a small scale model of the Great Lakes that actually rains! Fun for both kids and adults! There's an aquarium in the lower level with touch tanks (little structures in which you can actually touch the fish) and lots of colorful fish! There's also an area based in machinery on the first level, with interactive games and displayed automatons. It's an absolute several hour place to visit, if you want to see everything and interact with most of the exhibits. The only trouble is that often, it's a very crowded place to be, which can make it difficult to get the chance to see everything. It's also a rather pricey venture. If you're ready to spend a day learning about and interacting with a lot of interesting scientifically based subjects, this is absolutely an excellent place to go! And it's got lots of things for kids, too!

We went here on a whim with my daughter because she wanted to see the inside. Little did we know that we were entering a small piece of paradise. We love Discovery World. The representation of the Great Lakes was so substantial that we didn't realize the great variances between each leg. Not to mention they robotic suction was fantastic. The virtual reality was so much fun. This place is perfect for the young and old. We totally recommend stopping at this place

We love this place! Yes it may seem a little pricey...but it is totally worth it. So much to do...enough of a variety for everyone to find something to do. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We come down from Appleton several times a year. Get a membership! You won't regret it๐Ÿ˜ We pack a lunch and eat on tables overlooking Lake Michigan. Thank you all for this wonderful place to learn!

Walked into Discovery World today and found a nice clean walkway branching off into the various thematic locations. Each theme presented it's own personal quirks. Staff is mostly friendly, helpful, and great with children. Every time I would find myself coming to an apparent end, the room would open up and present something new and exciting waiting to be explored.

Small but fascinating aquarium portion. I didn't get to explore much of the rest of the building but it is nice for Milwaukee to have this. Kids could easily spend hours here. They have various touching stations (fish, rays, others based on volunteer availability). Upstairs there is a ship that kids can explore.
