Jacksonport Thanksgiving Day Parade, Jacksonport, WI

Located in downtown Jacksonport on Highway 57 is the annual Thanksgiving Day Parade. The parade starts at 10:30 a.m. and will run until about 11:00 a.m. This family fun event has helped raise funds for families and individuals in the community. Join in on the Thanksgiving fun by participating this year.

University of Wisconsin-Madison women’s basketball

Watch your University of Wisconsin women’s basketball team duke it out against Syracuse Thanksgiving morning. Purchase tickets for the whole family to visit the Kohl Center. Otherwise turn on your TV to support your Badger women’s basketball team in their non-conference game versus Syracuse! 

Oneida Nation Museum, Oneida, WI

Experience hands-on the Oneida history with their interactive museum. You and your family can view original artwork and walk through nature trails. Take some trinkets back from your educational day by stopping at the contemporary gift shop. Get the original Thanksgiving experience by visiting a Native American museum.

Madison Turkey Trot, Madison, WI

The Madison Turkey Trot is a 5K run/walk held in downtown Madison. Run for a cause this years as the Madison Turkey Trot supports the United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Dane County (UCP.) Dress up in your best turkey trot outfit and hit the streets of Madison. You’ll receive a warm cinnamon roll and a medal upon completion of the race. 

Christ the Rock, Menasha, WI

All are welcome to participate in the Thanksgiving Meal this year held at Monarch Gardens. Over 3,000 meals have been produced and delivered with the help of volunteers from all over the state.
