9 Best Record Stores in Wisconsin

It’s time to venture into the attic and unearth that old record player. Vinyl is alive and well. And it’s not just those old Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin records. Many of your favorite new artists press vinyl for their albums. It’s a collector’s item, a unique nostalgic sound of decades’ past. These record stores in Wisconsin have anything you’d be looking for. Here are our favorites.

The Exclusive Company, Oshkosh, WI

Not only does the Exclusive Company sell records, but they also sell home and car audio equipment as well as DJ turntables, headphones, and televisions. The company keeps track of today’s new music on its website, while also stocking used records—the oldies but goodies. Revival Records, Eau Claire, WI

Revival Records’ website does admit it specializes in rock-and-roll records, but never fear, also in stock are blues records, jazz records, reggae, country, and hip hop. Its website also claims the store is No. 1 in Eau Claire; the company hopes its customers “dig through our records to discover something new or something treasured.”

Bull’s Eye, Milwaukee, WI

Hitting a “bull’s eye” often denotes winning in some way. Well exploring Bull’s Eye record store counts as a win in my book. Selling records since 1996, according to the website, Bull’s Eye has always stayed loyal to the vinyl industry. Visit this record store and travel back in time, led by music from the ages.

Rock N’ Roll Land, Green Bay, WI

The staff at Rock N’ Roll Land prefers to listen to music first and ask questions later. Carrying music from unique independent artists instead of just mainstream ones, this record store aims to musically satisfy its customers. Bring in some of your collection for some trade-in value, then buy some new favorites.
