The Phipps Center for the Arts

109 Locust Street

The Phipps Center for the Arts has celebrated the creative spirit for over 20 years by offering exciting performances, outstanding exhibitions, and professional instruction for everyone.

The $7 million facility was built and funded by the William H. Phipps Foundation, area individuals, corporations, foundations, and other organizations.

" the brick-and-glass arts center overlooking the St. Croix River has become a magnet for lovers of theater, art, and music in the river valley and beyond," claims the Star Tribune.

There are no bad seats in the audience and you are at most 10 rows back from the stage. So no binoculars needed like at the Orpheum. Eclectic shows with great variety.

The art is amazing. And the plays are just as good.

Small town theater in great shape with good seats. The theater is small and cozy yet well maintained and with good amenities.
